Department of structural mechanics

Our department provides educational services in the specialty of construction and civil engineering, as well as specialists in all engineering specialties, materials science and technology of structural materials. The Department of Structural Mechanics was established in accordance with the order of the Rector of the Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University №366-03 from 31.07.2008.

AREA OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF OUR GRADUATES ARE:

✓ Construction of new buildings and structures for industrial and civil purposes;
✓ Development of architectural and planning projects;
✓ Calculations of durability and stability of complex structures;
✓ Use of CAD systems in the construction industry;

✓ Reconstruction and renovation of existing buildings;
✓ Technical and economic analysis of construction projects;
✓ Scientific research in the field of construction and civil engineering;
✓ Teaching.
